How to apply a die-cut vinyl stickers:. . . Step 1: Without removing anything position decal where you would like to apply it, this is to make sure there is enough room before removing the backing paper.. . Step 2: Remove backing paper so all that is left is the vinyl decal and the see-through transfer paper. It's advisable to hold the transfer paper flat on a table and pull the backing paper off at a 180 degree angle so the decal remains stuck to the transfer paper.. . Step 3: Carefully position the decal where you would like it to go. Once the decal is stuck to the surface it is difficult to remove without damaging it so be sure it's straight!. . Step 4: Start applying the decal from one side, keep tension on the transfer paper so other parts of the decal don't apply themselves. Slowly put pressure on the part of the decal you've applied and run your hand across the rest of it to make sure it is applied nice and evenly. This can also be done with a credit card.. . Step 5: Get something nice and flat, a credit card works, and go over the decal with it applying pressure. This will ensure a nice solid application to the surface. If you see any air bubbles you can try to work them to the edge with the credit card as well. It's useful to do this with the transfer paper still attached so you don't damage the decal itself.. . Step 6: Remove the transfer paper. This should be done in the same manner as the backing paper, pull back at a 180 degree angle to the surface. If the decal starts to lift with the transfer paper run the credit card over it some more and go slowly on that portion.
