Detailed description is Visual Art Of The Hidden Beauty Nature Has To Behold I stumbled into photography by chance while out on a mountain trail several years back.
While admiring a fallen tree, I noticed a pattern to the rotting wood.
Finding the the pattern beautiful I pulled out my phone and snapped a shot.
I was hooked from the start and before I knew it I had snapped photos of many different things that day which caught my eye.
Just wanting to show what beauty I had found, I shared the photos with a few people.
Instantly people began complimenting my "unique" view of the world.
And soon, as word spread, people began requesting prints.
Not wanting to keep natures beauty to myself, I began selling prints in sizes 5x7 / 8x10.
Meanwhile I continued taking more and more pictures and soon my collection grew great enough I decided to self publish a coffee table book, and so Appalachian Beauty was born.
I am currently working on my 3rd book which I hope to debut at Makers Market later this spring.
I have sold my works to people in may different states, and have had a collection of photographs sold at the Cumberland Gap National Park.
The fact that people like my work enough to want it hanging in their homes just amazes me.
I am so grateful for each and every person who supports my photography.
