The Jesse James Bike Tour is an official event of Defeat of Jesse James Days, one of Minnesota’s largest community celebrations.
Held the weekend after Labor Day each year, Defeat of Jesse James Days commemorates the failed bank robbery of 1876 that led to the ultimate downfall of the James-Younger gang.
The raid is re-enacted several times during the weekend, which is why we invite you to, “Come for the ride and stay for the raid.”.

The Northfield Rotary Club (Northfield, Minnesota) has organized and operated the Jesse James Bike Tour as a fundraiser since 1995.
