En el 2001, mi entrenador me dijo que ya estaba lista y fue cuando gane el Campeonato de Guantes de Oro de Michigan ese mismo año.
Aquel momento de mi vida fue muy emocionante, pues me di cuenta que sí podía y que tenía que continuar entrenando para luchar por mi sueño, lo cual me llevó a ser campeona de USA Vs.
Canadá en el 2002..

Inicié mi carrera profesionalmente en el 2003 y continue con el boxeo hasta lograr más de 18 peleas profesionales y así en el 2013 me condecoraron como la campeona de la Federación Mundial de Boxeo de peso super gallo en un histórico evento en Santa Cruz, Bolivia y recibí la medalla al Mérito Deportivo de manos del presidente Evo Morales.
