I spent full time days at a dreadful job, and barely got to see my girlfriend whom I absolutely love to spend time with.

In addition to that, I was constantly struggling to keep up with the bills and daily responsibilities.
I just didn't have TIME.
After awhile, I was desperate for something to change.

Lucky for me, because I did so much driving everyday for work, I started listening to podcasts.
It is in podcasts that I discovered the concept of being a "Digital Nomad." These Digital Nomads were individuals all over the world that decided the 9-5 gigs just weren't enough for them to live a fulfilling life.
They decided to take charge of their own lives and create wealth for themselves.
And in creating that wealth, they were able to create financial freedom and the freedom to live life in their own terms.
These individuals utilize the online space to generate consistent wealth, no matter where they live and/or travel..

It only took me ONE DAY to decide that this life of a "Digital Nomad" was EXACTLY what I was looking for.
I didn't even plan to travel full time like a vagabond.
What I did want, though, was to take charge of my life, my schedule, my relationships, my wealth, and even my health! It was just a matter of HOW and WHEN..

That's when I decided to start my own online retail store, American Teak, in 2016.
Although it was an exciting new journey, I found it incredibly difficult to find the best solutions, software, education, and overall resources to build and scale my new business.
It was like being at Target, staring at 600 different types of deodorant and trying to figure out which one was going to work the best smell-wise, and not leave you with some kind of terrible rash.
