My shop gets it's name from my grandchildren, Lily & Jack who are my chief assistants and test everything I make.
I’ve been making quilts and teaching quiltmaking for over 40 years and started doing custom embroidery in the past two years.
I love quilting because it gives me the creative freedom to make whatever my mind can imagine, no matter how big, small or complicated.
By adding machine embroidery to my shop, I can expand what I can do.

When my granddaughter was born in 2009, I started making her all kinds of quilty things…quilts, bibs and soft toys and loved every minute of it! After many people said I should share these with others, and with some strong encouragement, I agreed, so I opened my Etsy Shop in March, 2011..

All the items I make from embroidered t-shirts to hooded towels to bibs are made to last through repeated washings and still look great! My granddaughter, loved wearing her “Lily Loves Bunnies” that washed over 50 times and still looks great by the time she out-grew it! I make all my bibs using the same quality materials and workmanship.
They are handmade in my smoke-free studio and individually crafted to accent the fabric design and garment..

Creating each quilted item begins with carefully choosing the highest quality 100% cotton fabric, backing and coordinating binding; then the bib pattern is carefully placed on the top fabric for the best look.
The bibs are assembled for quilting using polyester batting and 100% cotton muslin.
After quilting, the bibs are assembled by adding a NO PVC waterproof liner so food will not soak through! They’re backed with a coordinating cotton fabric.
All bibs are made to fasten behind the child’s neck with a Velcro closure for easy on-easy off – sewn on all four sides with a satin stitch to cover the edges – no scratches! Then, just like any well-made quilt, the raw edges get a binding in coordinating fabric to add the final touch!.
