The Centre for the Music and The Arts (CeMTA) aims to promote student activities both in the performing and visual arts across the Colleges. We are committed to create culturally vibrant College environments via arts platforms and facilitate active participation by students and alumni talents of ITE.. . The Centre’s diverse arts platforms provide accessibility to different genres of art forms catering to artistic and popular interests of the ITE community. It seeks to promote the enjoyment of the arts and inspire greater . involvement amongst the community. . . The Arts Talent Development programmes serves to develop arts understanding and practice in order to realize our students’ full potential under the guidance of the best trainers. Currently, CeMTA managers several performing and visual arts groups, including That Acappella Group (T.A.G), ITE Show Choir, ITE Concert Band, ITE Jazz Orchestra, ITE Modern Dance and the ITE Theatrical Ensemble.. . In programming, CeMTA produces ITE arts events encompassing the strategic clusters – Drama, Dance, Vocal, Band and Visual Arts. Over the years, ITE has staged several musical productions. The latest musical was original SG50 production Becoming Home in 2015. CeMTA also produces ITE signature events like ITE Dance Emblazon and ITE Vocal XChange.. .
