Detailed description is We are a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the collection and restoration of Historical Instruments.
The primary goal of our organization is to save historical musical instruments.
We will concentrate on large keyboard instruments, such as pianos, pipe organs, harpsichords and clavichords.
Automatic musical instruments will include instruments such as Nickelodeons, Orchestrions, Music Boxes, Player Pianos, Reproducing Pianos, Dance Hall Organs, Band, "Merry-Go-Round", and Fair Organs.
We will be collecting these instruments by either having them donated to us or by purchasing them from private parties or other organizations who may have duplications.

Upon acquiring an instrument, it will be thoroughly cleaned and then "inventoried" to determine it's condition and what will be necessary to restore it to "factory-new" condition.
We will document each aspect of the process both in text and photographs that will later be available to the public to help in their own restoration projects.

In our restorations, we will use old techniques and particular products that have been used traditionally since the time these instruments were originally built.

We will display restored instruments in a venue that will allow for the playing of the instruments by the public and also show Silent Films with live Theatre Pipe Organ Accompaniment.

We will provide both fund raising and other concerts on these instruments by guest artists who specialize in a particular type of instrument (i.e.
reed organ, pipe organ, harpsichord)..

We will also create a reference library of books and ephemera of these instruments as well as a digital library of scanned books, ephemera and musical rolls/books to be used online for those who cannot come to our facility..

All gifts will go to the acquisition, restoration and expenses related to the restoration, management and upkeep of the instruments, as well as the expenses related to the space necessary to properly display and provide public access to the collection and library.
