Ink Capps Tattoo is a direct result of my want to change the tattoo experience for the client, and the industry for the artist.
My ideas have proven too radical for other employers, and have given me a reason to pursue owning my own studio.

My goal for my artists is to provide a space that promotes the production of art, and reduces the stresses of day to day operations.
Everything we do at Ink Capps is designed to give the client the greatest value, while leaving the artist free to concentrate on producing art..
A majority of the changes we have made are not drastically different from what can be found in other studios, for example, our preference for appointments over walk ins.
This is not to say walk ins are not possible, only that we would prefer the time to draw up a custom design made specifically for you which would require an appointment to be made.
Another example of things we do that others have done, is to require a deposit before making an appointment or drawing a design.
Our time has a value, deposits help deter people from wasting that time.
One of the things that we do that is drastically different from the main stream street shop is our flat rate pricing.
$10 per square inch no matter the style or type of tattoo, or placement on the body( extra fees may be added for certain areas, not as an added tattoo cost, but as a handling fee).
This keeps the client from getting gouged by an hourly rate with a slow artist that takes lots of breaks, and keeps the artist that is efficient from getting gouged by the same hourly rate.
