Detailed description is Concealed carry courses This course covers the requirements set forth in the “Ohio Concealed Carry Laws Manual” established by the Ohio Attorney General and will give you the Knowledge, Skills, and Attitude necessary for owning and using a pistol safely and will allow you to apply for your Ohio Concealed Carry License.
The course consists of 6 hours of classroom instruction covering topics such as parts of a gun, proper grip and stance, shooting both one-handed and two-handed, selecting a pistol that’s right for you, and your legal responsibilities.
The class begins promptly at 8 a.m.
with 30 minutes for lunch with dismissal approximately 2:30 p.m.
Classroom instruction is followed by 2 hours at the gun range with live fire instruction..
The classroom portion of the course is held at 7324 Valley View Dr., Independence, OH 44131, adjacent to Perfect Ash Cigar Lounge.
The range portion of the course will be held at Stonewall Range, 100 Ken Mar Pkwy., Broadview Hts., OH 44147..
The fee for this course is $125 which must be paid in full one week prior to course date.
Cost of the course includes all course related materials including range fee.

Upon successful completion of the course you will receive your certificate from Independence Concealed Carry Courses that you will present along with and a 2 X 2 inch photo to your county’s Sheriff's Department or an adjacent county's Sheriff's Department.
The certificate is in force for a period of three years from date of issuance and you must be 21 years of age to receive your concealed carry license..
Pistols must be carried unloaded to the range in appropriate carry boxes or range bags.
Student should bring 50 rounds of factory loaded ammunition along with appropriate ear and eye protection.
Owning a pistol is not a requirement to take this course, we have pistols that you may use although you will be required to supply the appropriate ammunition..
NO LIVE AMMUNITION IS PERMITTED IN THE CLASSROOM!.
Water and soft drinks will be available throughout the day.
