Detailed description is Acting classes for beginners, those looking for more experience and for those looking to sharpen their skills.
For those in Brooks & County of Newell.
First course will run once a week for 2 hours each class, over a 6-week period and will cover basic acting principals such as: movement, voice, character & basic script work.
The course will serve as an introduction for beginners, a refresher course for those with some past acting experience as well as a good opportunity to hone your skills if your an experienced actor..

12-17 years - Jan 12th to Feb 23rd 2016 - .
(Every Tuesday 6:30 to 8:30pm)* .

18 years and up - Jan 14th to Feb 25th 2016 - .
(Every Thursday 7-9pm)* .

COST:.
$150.00 for a 6 week course comprised of 6 two hour classes.

REGESTRATION:Those looking to register for this course will have to fill out a registration sheet, which will be emailed to you upon request.
Once completed please email the form back or if you are unable to do so for any reason, please call/text Michael at 403-501-1996 to arrange for pick-up/delivery.
Courses fees MUST be paid in advance and in full before the first class.

INSTRUCTOR:.
Michael Glynn Macdonald is a local actor, director, writer and producer who has performed countless times in dozens of shows in and around southern Alberta.
His latest work was the summer’s western adaptation of William Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliet in which he directed, acted and co-adapted.
He will next be seen, once again as Scrooge in the remounting of the very popular Charles Dickens A Christmas Carol.
Michael has also worked and trained with several other different theatre companies in British Columbia and Alberta over past 21 years.
He received some of his education from Vancouver's Studio 58 and the Charles Stuart agency and has credits that include both stage and film.
He is one of the co-founders of Tumbleweed Theatre and continues to be one of its artistic directors.

POLICIES:.
- Money for the course must be paid (cash or cheque) upfront and in full before the first class and are non-refundable.
.
- Students are responsible for providing their own notebooks, pens, water bottles and proper clothing and footwear..
- Proper clothing consists of: baggy, loose fitting or stretchy clothing that will allow students to move freely but not so ill-fitting as to inhibit movement or get caught on things.
NO DANGLING JEWELLERY.
- Footwear: should be light, comfortable and easy to move in NO FLIP-FLOPS OR OPEN TOED SHOES.
We will be spending a lot of time in bare feet so don't worry too much about high quality shoes..
- Students are responsible for all lost or stolen items and are encouraged to leave expensive items at home..
- Classes start promptly at the time specified so please don't me late..
- Classes missed by students will not be made up or have any money refunded but if the instructor has to cancel a class for any reason it will be added on to the end of the course..
- In this course their will be no testing or final production.- Parents/Guardians of children are asked to wait in the waiting area or outside the building if they prefer.
Some students, especially those new to acting may be self conscience and having an audience at this early stage of their development could be detrimental to them..
- The instructor reserves the right to cancel this course at anytime for any reason.
In such a case all money paid will be refunded in full to the purchaser..
- Verbal/physical abuse by students toward the instructor or other students will not be tolerated.
The safety/well being of students is paramount and these kind of behaviors have no place here and will result in immediate expulsion from the course, in addition fees will not be refunded..
- While this course is being offer in Tumbleweed Theatre it is not being offered by Tumbleweed Theatre but by MG Macdonald independently and with their approval as well as under their insurance..

* Minimum class size will be 4 students, maximum 12 (if there is not enough students in a class age group, both classes may be merged together at the instructor’s discretion.
