Detailed description is Die IBS - International Business School ist eine private deutsche Wirtschaftsschule nach angelsächsischem Vorbild und unterhält Standorte in Lippstadt und Nürnberg.Historie und Schwerpunkte1984 wurde die International Business School Lippstadt gegründet. Im Jahr 2006 eröffnete die International Business School Nürnberg. Beide Business Schools bieten in sechs Semestern einen Ausbildungsgang mit dem Abschluss Internationaler Betriebswirt (IBS) mit den Studienrichtungen General Management, Hotel- und Tourismusmanagement, Medien-, Kultur- und Eventmanagement, Marketingmanagement, Wirtschaftspsychologie und Human Resources, Immobilienmanagement und Sportmanagement an. Hierbei erhält der Student einen nichtakademischen Abschluss der IBS zum "Internationaler Betriebswirt" zudem erhält der Student einen staatlich anerkannten akademischen Bachelor Abschluss der englischen Universität Sunderland "Bachelor of Arts in Management". Der englische Bachelor wird hierbei an der Uni Sunderland in Kooperation mit der IBS abgelegt.Somit haben Nürnberg und Lippstadt die Doppelabschlussmöglichkeit des englischen Bachelor (staatlich) und Internationaler Betriebswirt IBS Fachrichtung (nichtstaatlich). Bis Ende des Jahres 2007 war die IBS auch in Bad Nauheim ansässig und bis zum 3. September 2010 in Berlin. Die staatlich anerkannte IBS Berlin wurde in die EBC Hochschule umfirmiert. Die Studienprogramme sowie die staatliche Anerkennung der Hochschule blieben davon unberührt.Das StudiumDas Studium „International Business Studies“ umfasst sechs Semester und zwei dreimonatige Praktika . Auf das Grundstudium entfallen drei, auf das Hauptstudium drei Semester. Die Studenten wählen im Hauptstudium eine Fachspezialisierungen .
