Detailed description is We play "small-sided" games to give each child the opportunity to touch the ball and achieve success. The age of each player is determined by birth year. The club is run by a board of volunteers. Hueytown Youth Soccer Club is affiliated with Alabama Soccer Association and Central Alabama Soccer Association, (CASL). Our program is open to boys and girls ages 3 to 18. We are located at Martin Luther King Park, 508 Forest Road, Hueytown, Alabama, and at the HYSC Soccer Complex, 151 Forest Road, Hueytown, Alabama. Soccer seasons are held during the Spring and Fall. Practice dates and times are determined by our volunteer coaches. Most practices are held during the week, and usually last about an hour. Practice sessions are generally held two to three times a week, depending on age group. Most games are held on Saturdays, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Occasionally, a few games are scheduled on Tuesdays or Thursdays, beginning at 6:30 p.m. We have four age groups: U6 for ages 3-5, U9 for ages 6-8, U14,for ages 9-13, and U18 for ages 14-18.
