El Hospital fue creado e inició funciones en enero de 1994, bajo la operación del Hospital Clínica Monte Sinaí Sociedad Anónima, un grupo de profesionales de la zona que se unieron y procuraron ofrecer servicios privados de salud a la población de la Zona Norte, con un financiamiento de Coocique R.L., durante 10 años de funcionamiento, sufren de graves y varios reveses financieros que concluyen, luego de analizar varias opciones, conceder la administración general del Hospital a CONSALUD R.L., quien a partir de junio del 2003, inicia la administración formalizando un contrato que incluye la opción de compra-venta..
Un año después, agosto del 2004, Consalud concreta la adquisición del Hospital e inicia un nuevo proceso para el proyecto, renovando su organización, ajustando la administración, políticas y programas, buscando una proyección de sus servicios con una visión más social, procurando convertirse en una alternativa de fácil acceso para la población en general, y resolver los problemas de salud que se dificultan en la seguridad social y con costos de servicios médicos privados razonables, buscando alternativas para la población de poder financiarlos..
