Providing quality end-of-life care to patients and their families is accomplished by a team of professionals including registered nurses, doctors, social workers, a chaplain, certified nursing assistants, grief counselors and trained volunteers.. . Hospice care is provided most often in the home, but is also offered in nursing homes, assisted living facilities and at the Langdale Hospice House. The Langdale Hospice House is an inpatient care center available exclusively to patients under the care of Hospice of South Georgia.
