In April 2015, Southwest Manitoba Pro-life held a Pro-life Conference in Killarney. Scott Miller presented at the conference and while he was in the area he did a presentation at a church where it was suggested to him that a house was available that would make an ideal crisis pregnancy-maternity home. The house for sale currently belongs to a couple that wishes to leave for missionary work. We came together and prayed that God would go before us and make a way for us to move forward as we did not know how we could make this happen. The homeowners suggested that we make contact with Hope Now Family Concepts. This group, founded in 2011, was actively trying to create a crisis pregnancy home but had been unable to raise the funds to make it happen. The dream didn’t die! They continued to feel that God was leading them in this and maintained their charity number, curriculum and policies that had been created. Upon meeting with Dianna Freeman and Heather Godri, all of us were amazed that we had a unified vision for a Christian crisis pregnancy-maternity home. God had answered our prayer. The vision now has fresh life, our organization has a registered charity number for tax receipts and a donor has come forward willing to match every dollar donated up to half the cost of the $250,000 being raised
