Party at the Point, the museum’s annual fund-raising gala, will be held November 18th, 2016 from 6:30 p.m. until the beat stops.. . Guests will be treated to the sounds of Michael Arenella and his Dreamland Orchestra, direct from New York City, as well as dinner, dancing, and entertainment on the White Cottage lawn, Pergola, and Sunken Garden. A dinner of Chateaubriand will be served along the waterfront with beautiful views of the Little Sarasota Bay. Guests are invited to dance under the night sky “‘til the stars fall down from the rafters” amongst thousands of twinkling white lights wrapped through the mangroves and trees of Historic Spanish Point.. . The event will benefit Historic Spanish Point, Osprey’s historical, environmental, and archaeological outdoor museum on Little Sarasota Bay.. . Ticket prices will be $200.00 per person and $300.00 per person for patrons. Patrons will be listed in the event program and will receive free admission to the next day’s event: “Let’s Lindy on the Lawn.” As an added bonus, Patrons will receive password-only access to a Sapphire Lounge featuring prohibition-style cocktails.
