HistoriCorps® and Lamar Community College have announced a new partnership that will make training and education in historic building technology and preservation available to students throughout Colorado and the Rocky Mountain West. In fact, students can enroll from virtually anywhere. The program will have three learning components: class work delivered online, 2-5 day workshops conducted on active construction work sites, and 8 to 12 week field schools operated by HistoriCorps. Students will learn construction skills while working on historic buildings in amazing settings. Since 2009, HistoriCorps has saved over 100 buildings in National Forests and National Parks. Now you can earn college credit while saving historic places.. .
