These brothers duly.y petitioned the Grand Lodge in session in the city of San Francisco at its 50th Annual Communication, for a charter.
Said charter was granted naming Bro J.T.

Hays as Senior Warden and Bro.

McMicken as Junior Warden, and was designated Hiram Lodge No.
27 on the Grand Lodge Roster.
At the 52nd Annual Communication in the city of Bakersfield, Hiram Lodge was renumbered No.

Landmark owned a small church located at 420 Monrovista, Monrovia.
The Lodge met there for a few years, but found the building too small and needed larger quarters.
The building was sold, and plans to build on the site on Lincoln Avenue were discussed.
The Lodge bought property next door to supplement the development for the new Masonic Hall.
Architectural plans were completed by a local architect, but construction had to be put off for fiscal reasons.
