Since 2003, our organization has been serving military members and their families by providing material and financial aid and other assistance and services to all branches of the military, guard, and reserve forces. We began at Scott AFB as the Armed Forces Foundation, then became Operation Homefront, later to become Operation Homefront of Missouri and SW Illinois, and then H.E.R.O.E.S. Care in 2013. We have grown from providing a mere $6000 in annual military support program services to more than $16,000,000 in 2016. As of June 2017, more than 3000 specially trained caregivers in 25 states stand ready to provide support for military families in the communities where they live.
