Heights Tavern also offers a wide variety of craft beers, fine wines and signature cocktails. Attention to detail, courtesy, and exceptional service are the cornerstones of our philosophy at Heights Tavern. Heights Tavern is the second location in our expanding family of restaurants which includes the popular Harlem Tavern. . . The Space. Heights Tavern features exposed brick with cast iron and distressed glass throughout, creating a modern, industrial feel. The main dining room boast fifteen foot ceilings with exposed duct work. The thirty foot mahogany bar and adjacent communal tables allow our customers to enjoy cocktails while watching a game or waiting for additional guests. The space is furnished with family friendly plush banquettes, two tops, four tops, and communal tables.. . At 4100 square feet our main dining room and two private party rooms can easily accommodate 290 guests in comfort and style. Our outdoor sidewalk cafe extends down Broadway can seat up to 80 guests. The storefront has beautifully handcrafted Steel French doors that open up during the warmer days to the sidewalk cafe which is lined with awnings and umbrellas, allowing an opportunity to either soak up the sun or cool down in the shade.. . The Affair. Heights Tavern offers a wide variety of craft beers and creative and palate expanding cocktails. Our selections range from IPA and Wheats to locally sourced and seasonal favorites. Our chef Darren Pettigrew is Dublin born, London schooled. As the one time chef of Ulysses and owner-chef of Stella Maris he is on board to create an American bistro in Washington Heights.
