Detailed description is The Heidelberg Summer Jazz Camp is designed for musicians of all ages and ability levels.
The Workshop is designed for musicians of all ages and ability levels.
Three levels of classes are offered to accommodate beginners, intermediate and advanced performers, and educators.
The faculty includes some of the best jazz performers and educators in the midwest.
Participants will be able to find inspiration and a wealth of knowledge regardless of their experience level..

Students of all ages and experience levels (from middle and high school to college and professional) are welcome to participate..

All instrumentalists are welcome.
Jazz can be played on any instrument!.

There will be special curriculums for instrumentalists, vocalists and educators..

Students in grades 9-12 have an opportunity to win Heidelberg scholarship money!.

This workshop may be taken for graduate credit..

The Heidelberg Summer Jazz Workshop Includes:.

jazz history classes.

two levels of jazz theory classes.

two levels of jazz improvisation classes.

jazz educator workshops.

multiple levels of jazz combos.

instrument masterclasses.

guest artist masterclass .

The workshop will conclude with a 7pm concert at a local restaurant.
Students will have the opportunity to perform and display what they have learned for family and friends!.
