Detailed description is Heartland Hatchery is located 3 miles east of Amsterdam, Mo in Bates County.
Owned and operated by Alan Nieder and his son Miles.
Heartland Hatchery sells assorted varieties of heavy layers and rare/exotic breed baby chicks, ducklings, goslings, guinea keets and turkey poults.
We start selling chicks in Mid February and usually run thru October depending on the weather.
Heartland Hatchery has been in business for 17 years, but Alan has been raising poultry for over 35 years.
We sell at farm stores all around the area from Topeka, KS to Warrensburg, MO, and as far south as Joplin and Springfield, MO, even adding a location in Grove AR in 2014.
We are NPIP (National Poultry Improvement Plan) tested and verified by the state of Missouri as an authorized disease free hatchery.
