We provide fostering, vetting and transportation.

In 2014, HARTT took in, vetted and found rescues or permanent homes for over 850 dogs (and about 6 cats)! In 2015 we handled almost 820 animals.
We are a “rescue without borders,” thus, we help animals in the tri-state area of Northeast Mississippi, Northwest Alabama and Central/Southwestern Tennessee.
We have sent animals to new homes in far-away places such as Maine, Alaska, New Hampshire, and Minnesota.
Most of them traveled via paid animal transport van, but both a cat and a dog flew Delta DASH to from Tennessee to Fairbanks, Alaska! We are extremely proud of our ability to help local dogs and puppies (and some cats and kittens) that would not have many opportunities to find these great homes across the country without our rescue’s efforts.
