New season begins 1st September 2015.
Happy in Hooves is a NEW and unique experience providing pony cart rides, mini horse & sulky rides and hands on interaction with a pony to pat and brush.
Owner/Operator is Tania White of Seadown..

At this stage we come to your party or event providing you have the room to accommodate options chosen by you.
We hope to offer different areas to meet your group or party, which incorporate local attractions like Caroline Bay, Timaru Botanic Gardens and Centennial Park (Currently pending the outcome of our application to the council for use of their grounds).

We offer a friendly, reliable and professional service with a high focus on safety so that treasured memories can be taken away and looked back upon in years to come.
If you are just after the chance to pat or brush a pony then this option is also available..

We cover the area within the South Canterbury boundary..

We are available at weekends only from September through to April.

Weekdays will be considered but we will require at least four weeks' notice for this to occur.

Tania’s obsession with horses/ponies started from a very young age thanks to her grandfather who was a jockey who then went on to become a successful trainer and owner around the South Canterbury region.
He taught her how to ride and gave her a wealth of knowledge that has proved invaluable in her work with equines of all shapes and sizes..

From the show ring to the race track, Tania has dabbled with horses/ponies in various disciplines and endured the long hours and endless weekends of hard work that go hand in hand with any involvement with these animals..

Tania is now enjoying the rewarding experience of being able to offer immaculate miniature horses and ponies for activities where both children and adults alike can enjoy.

Being able to provide this opportunity and being able to see the expressions of the children when they touch a miniature horse for the first time or they are riding in the cart with their parents is a moment that is quite magical..

Some of these moments have been at parties, which Tania has provided the ponies for.
Some of you may recognise her from the Funky Bugs Children's Outdoor Parties that you have been too.
This has provided the ponies with a great foundation of experience to the atmosphere of kids’ parties along with the Race Meetings that we have also been too..

The ponies (Raffie, Ruby, Storm and Simba) are friendly, well mannered and always presented in an immaculate condition.
They undertake the activity that best suits them and their ability.

We provide approved safety helmets for all sizes which must be worn by any person who is riding in the sulky or cart.
Safety vests are available upon request but as the ponies are led at all times these are optional.
It is advisable that suitable footwear is worn when around the ponies..

Happy in Hooves team of pony handlers are experienced in all aspects of pony care and assist with sorting helmets/ taking photos on your behalf/ leading the ponies/ helping people into the cart/sulky and most of all ensure you have an enjoyable experience..
