Detailed description is We are a small family winery in Alexander Valley near Healdsburg making Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec & Rosé. We are open by appointment. We are three generations working together at the winery and are committed to remaining small and making high quality, value-priced wines. We achieve that by careful, hands-on managing of vineyard and winemaking.. . Parke Hafner has been our winemaker for all of our 31 harvests. A University of California, Davis graduate, he has worked at wineries in Napa Valley and France's Burgundy.. . Each year Parke makes our wines only from grapes we grow here at the winery. In our caves, we age our wines longer than most other wineries and that gives them fuller aromas and softer bouquets.. . Scott Hafner, an alumnus of Louis M. Martini Winery and The Sharper Image, manages the sale of Hafner wine exclusively to our patrons and leading California Restaurants, but not to any stores.. .
