The Hackettstown Community Pool, fondly known as HCP, is one of the largest and longest operating pools in New Jersey. The facility features 4 separate pools that range in depth from 1 to 9.5 feet. The deepest pool, the Diving Tank, features 3 diving boards at heights of 1 foot, 5 feet, and 10 feet. The Main pool features 3 separate sections: the Deep end (5-6 ft.), 8 Olympic (SCY) lap lanes, and a shallow section (3-4 ft.) which includes a large slide and handicap access chair. There is a children's pool which features a frog slide at its deeper end, and a kiddie pool with a splash feature in its center. There is a concession stand that sells hot and cold snacks, as well as a picnic area next to the facility for patrons to enjoy food that they bring with them. The pool offers Red Cross swim lesson levels 1-6 in the mornings, as well as a 30 minute Adult laps session every weekday before the pool opens.
