Detailed description is De Groentefabriek is een sociale stadstuin in Zwolle. Het is een plaats van ontmoeting, inspiratie en veel verse groenten. Er was eens een verlaten stukje grond, midden in Zwolle. Net zo als veel andere stukken braakliggende grond lag het maar wat te wachten totdat een projectontwikkelaar er een groot kantoor gebouw op zou kwakken.. Maar op 23 april 2014 veranderde de toekomst van dit stukje grond drastisch door een aantal brutale stadstuinders. Het werd omgeploegd en vervolgens volgeplant met groenten. Dat was het begin van 'De GroenteFabriek': een stadstuin waar iedereen welkom is, waar je samen met anderen kunt tuinieren, praten en inspiratie opdoen.. Inmiddels zijn we verhuisd naar een meer definitieve plek.. . De GroenteFabriek is opgezet vanuit het geloof dat een tuin mensen verbindt en sterker en blijer maakt. Daarnaast geeft het ook nog eens grote hoeveelheden heerlijk verse groenten en fruit.
