The farm began as a registered cattle operation operated by Dave and Jan Baldwin in 1971 near Drury, MO., in Douglas County.
The couple ran a breeding stock cattle operation and raised three children on the farm.
In 2016, Dave and Jan relocated the family farm to Seymour, MO., and with their children David and daughter Lane (Baldwin) McConnell and their families, began Grassland Farms, LLC.
