Detailed description is Granger Elementary is the newest elementary in our district, but it is located in the oldest school building within our district.
Granger became Highland’s third elementary school when it opened to students in preschool – fifth grades in September of 2004.
Before that, it was Highland Middle School, and before that, it was the original Highland High School.
The building was originally constructed in 1929 to serve the students of Granger Township.
