Grace Christian School of Loris, S.C., an arm of Grace Tabernacle Christian Center, was first born in the hearts of Pastor Owen and Judy Johnson.
Their vision was to have a Christian School where children could be trained in academics and the Word of God.
This dream came to pass in August 1980.
The School opened its doors with twenty-five students enrolled.
Grades K-5 through 12th grade were offered.
Pastor Johnson was the first principal and Mrs.
Johnson taught first and second grades.
The first year we had only one graduate.
The school was first accredited on May 29,1981..
