Heather Purdin, MS, PT, CMPT, graduated in 1997 from Duke University with a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy and a Bachelor’s with honors in Psychology.
She has developed expertise in orthopedic and neurological therapy, sports specific rehab and training, manual therapy for soft tissue release and alignment, pain management, strength/conditioning and weight loss, orthotic fabrication, vestibular rehab, pre/post pregnancy rehab/training, and lifestyle modification.
She is pursuing a specialty certificate in orthopedic & manual therapy from North American Institute of Orthopeadic & Manual Therapy, Heather studied under Keith Kleven, Physical Therapist/trainer to top level professional athletes particularly in golf, baseball, boxing, and dance.
She worked as the student athletic trainer to Duke’s sports teams including football, basketball, track and field, soccer, lacrosse, field hockey, and fencing.
She has done research on exercise and Parkinson’s Disease.
Heather is former Secretary of the Oregon Physical Therapy Association and public relations committee chair.

Michele Shivack, PT, ATC, COMT, CSCS, graduated in 1995 from Hunter College in New York City with a Bachelors of Science in Physical Therapy.
She brings a comprehensive background to Goodell Physical Therapy including manual therapy, sports orthopedics, post-operative rehabilitation and functional assessment for return to sport.
Michele completed a sports medicine fellowship in 1997 and was certified as an athletic trainer (ATC) in 2001.
She received the Certified Orthopaedic Manual Therapist (COMT) and fellowship from North American Institute of Orthopaedic & Manual Therapy in 2004.
She became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) in 2010.
Michele has extensive experience with pre-operative and post-operative patients including hip, knee, foot, shoulder, and spine rehabilitation.
She specializes in running, soccer, cycling, overhead sports, and rugby injuries.
Michele has worked with high level athletes such as the Timbers, PSU and U of P college athletes, as well as the everyday active person.
She has presented at several conferences for Providence Health System on concussion management and assessment, differential hip diagnosis, and postoperative rehabilitation.
Michele has worked as an athletic trainer with the Timbers youth development team and local rugby clubs.

Brian Kitzerow, DPT, graduated in 2008 from Eastern Washington University with a Doctor of Physical Therapy and has a Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry from Lewis & Clark College.
Brian has a strong science background with focus on neurological, psychosocial & biochemical approaches to providing therapy.
His interests emphasize patient populations with neurogenic injury and persistent pain.
He thrives on diversity and challenge, and commands excellent critical thinking and communication skills.
