With the fast expanding field of Pharmaceutical Technology, we the alumni feel proud to inform you that our Department of Pharmaceutical Technology which started functioning from 1963 is going to complete 50 years of academic excellence.
For many years it was the only institute in the whole of eastern India providing pharmaceutical education and research, maintaining its supreme quality and responsibility to the society.
Since its inception, the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology of Jadavpur University has emerged as one of the front-runners in the field of pharmacy education and research in India.
The long path has been crossed so far with the active leadership of different teachers and mentors who had imbibed within us the sense of oneness with this department.
So, time has arrived for us to bear the onus of commemorating the 50 years of this department.
In this background, it’s a pleasure to inform you that we are celebrating the golden jubilee of the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology, Jadavpur University (1963-2013) on February 23-24, 2013.
The programme schedule is enriched with scientific sessions, cultural programme by alumni and professionals, “adda” session to get back to the nostalgic college days-down the memory lane.
