Our strategy is based on the implementation of GD Hubs within communities where there is a significant number of youth living in poverty.

A GD Hub (a Global Deeds Hub) is an afternoon educational program within qualifying high schools, juvenile detention centers, social enterprises, NGOs, and juvenile homes, managed by the institution in collaboration with and sponsored by Global Deeds Foundation.
This is done in collaboration with a group of NGOs and initiatives that are working towards the same mission..

Due to the nature of the operations of certain institutions, there are cases in which all that a GD Hub offers cannot be fully implemented, for example if the teens are only present for a limited amount of time, and not an entire academic year.
If an institution does not have a computer lab, but is interested in the DigiWork certificate programs, funding or an in-kind donation request of equipment could be provided in order to conduct the programs..

A typical team is composed of:.
1.
A minimum of 25 students per institution/center.
2.
Two teachers and three other Program Development Committee members.
3.
College interns (as needed).
4.
High school juniors / senior teacher assistants (as needed).
5.
Computer lab (both Mac and PC) with capacity for at least 25 students at a time, scanner, projector, paper and a printer.

The GD Hub focuses on embracing self-sufficiency in students.
Students start by becoming leaders of their own lives through the development of new skills.
We intend to help students improve their self-esteem and their likelihood of obtaining dignifying work and attend a reputable educational institution at the college and graduate levels.
