Brașov (Kronstadt).GeschichteIm Nordwesten der Ortschaft wurden Spuren einer römischen Siedlung entdeckt.Es gibt vorläufig keine archäologischen Funde, die eine größere Besiedlung vor dem 13. Jahrhundert auf dem Gebiet des heutigen Dorfes belegen würden. Allerdings gibt es einzelne Hinweise auf römische Siedlungen in der Nachbarschaft, wie die auf der Strecke zwischen Bradu / Girelsau und Săcădate / Sakadat.
