Detailed description is Baton twirling lessons for the youth of the area, to prepare them for majorettes, competition, poise, confidence and so much more. Angel Waldrop has been twirling since 1987 when she started with Georgia's Youth on Parade. She continued to move forward by competing statewide, regionally and nationally. She was the feature solo majorette in high school at Marietta High School and further went on to twirl on the majorette line at Furman University. She has competed solo, as well as in teams and corps. She as also taught for GYOP and judged competitions/pageants for them. She has been trained in poise and modeling. Currently, she is a member of USTA and teaches using their standards, recently becoming a certified coach through their testing program. . . Lessons are offered for students 5 and up in private settings at this time with hopes to expand to offer group classes in the near future. All students will be taught in hopes to have them advance to state, regional and national competitions, as well as parades and performaces. Also, any current majorettes or lines are welcome.
