Creativity is and remains Georgetown University’s Achilles’ heel.
Student opportunities for artistic expression are few and far between.
While Washington, DC has some of the world’s finest art galleries (most of them free of charge), Georgetown students rarely venture out to see local exhibits.
This is part of a larger trend: for more than twenty years, surveys of alumni and graduating seniors have consistently indicated the need for better arts programs at Georgetown.
