My name is Joseph, I am the owner of Gearhound Surplus. On August 23, 2010, I was shot by an enemy sniper while serving in Marjah, Afghanistan with Bravo Battery 1st Battalion, 11th Marines. In May of 2013, I was medically retired from the Marine Corps and began selling military surplus at Gunshows across California, Nevada, and Arizona. I am excited to begin this new business venture and hope that you will be equally excited with the great selection of military surplus we sell. . . History. . Established in 2014.. . Gearhound Surplus is the newest military surplus store in Southern California. Unlike most surplus stores we sell genuine military surplus. We are not a military clothing store, we specifically sell military surplus gear.
