Detailed description is GEARE is a unique program designed to supplement the education of engineers so they are prepared to function immediately in the global workplace Geare is a program at Purdue that offers a unique chance to students in the college of Engineering, a chance to study and intern abroad.
The program is designed to send students abroad the second semester of their junior year for 8 months, half studying and half working while in another country.
Students need to learn a foreign language before they leave and complete a global design project after they come back..
