Detailed description is 1996 - 2016 = 20 Jahre Förderverein Sachsenring 1996 - 2011 = 15 Jahre Förderverein Sachsenring. . Er besteht seit nunmehr schon 15 Jahren: der Förderverein Sachsenring e.V. in Hohenstein-Ernstthal. Seine derzeit etwa 100 Vereinsmitglieder haben es sich nicht nur zur Aufgabe gemacht, Tradition und Bekanntheit der Rennstrecke zu pflegen, sondern ganz speziell den motorsportlichen Nachwuchs in der Region zu fördern und nach Möglichkeit finanziell und materiell zu unterstützen. Maximilian Kappler, derzeit unterwegs im ADAC-Junior-Cup, ist einer der Nachwuchspiloten, der vom Verein Unterstützung erhält.. Dies resultiert aus einer jahrelangen erfolgreichen Zusammenarbeit mit Dirk Heidolf, Teamchef des Racing Team Germany. Ebenso erhält die Minibikeschule Scherhübel in Lichtenstein Zuwendungen durch den Förderverein. Damit soll gemeinsam mit den Eltern und dem Ausbildungszentrum den jungen Racern die Möglichkeit des Einstieges in den Motorrennsport erleichtert werden.. . Möglich wird dies aber nur durch die zielgerichteten Vorhaben der Firmen und Einzelmitglieder, die sich in diesem Verein zusammen gefunden haben. Wichtiger Bestandteil der Vereinsarbeit ist die Absicherung der Tribünenbetreuung zum Sachsenring-Motorrad-GP. Der Fortbestand des Motorradrennsportes, insbesondere aber die weitere Durchführung des GP am Sachsenring ist wichtigstes Ziel aller Vereinsmitglieder und erhält die volle Unterstützung.. .
