Detailed description is Charity 4 km Run around campus. - We are now open to ALL students in Ngee Ann Polytechnic! Head on down to the Underpass to sign up for the run on Friday (20 Oct)! -. . Come down to our booth on Wednesday to Friday (19 - 21 October 2011), 10am to 5pm at the Underpass.. . Registration fees will be charged at $15, with proceeds going to St. Luke Hospital. Event T-shirt and goodie bag will be provided. 2 CCA points will be given too!. . Fund My Life will be held on 14 November 2011, which falls on a Monday.. . The event will consist of a charity run around the campus. Preceding the event, a donation drive will be held, along with the sales of tickets to the Fund My Life event. For this event, we have chose St. Luke's Hospital as our beneficiary.. . St. Luke's Hospital is a community hospital located in Bukit Batok, which is dedicated to providing rehabilitation and respite care to the Elderly Sick in Singapore. As a hospital guided by Christian values, it does not receive funding from Community Chest. Instead, it is funded mainly by subvention from the Ministry of Health and patient's fees. The balance is raised independently through its various fundraising events and donations from the community, in order to fully pay for its annual operating budget of S$8 million. As such, we would like to render our assistance to St. Luke Hospital, through this event.. . At the end of the fundraising marathon, we would be having an after race concert, which commences around 7.30pm. The performance will be held at Ngee Ann Polytechnic's Music Box @ 73.. .
