Detailed description is The building pictured above was erected in 1922 as the town's first public library.
In 1978, it became the Frostproof Historical Museum.
The Frostproof Historical Museum is run by the members of the Frostproof Historical Society.
The Museum contains artifacts, books, photographs and other documents on the history of Frostproof, Polk County, and Florida.
It also houses a growing collection of genealogical information for assistance in family research including some audio and videotapes by pioneers.

We are open1-4PM on Sat year-round and also on Tues and Thurs from Oct 1 to mid-April.

$15 per year for individuals, or $150 one-time for a lifetime membership.
