The Friends of the Stephens County Humane Society operate the Thrift Store in Comanche as a means to help provide for the cats and dogs of the Humane Society. The Friends of The Humane Society is a group of volunteers who are dedicated to raising funds to support projects and aid in veterinary care at the Stephens County Humane Society. . . We are actively seeking volunteers who would like to join us in helping the animals. In addition to operating the Thrift Store, we also help with on-site adoptions and other functions throughout the year.
