My wife, Gwen, and I currently reside in Pocomoke. We are raising two beautiful daughters, Monica and Natalie. I am currently serving the Worcester County Sheriff’s Office as the only drug abuse resistance educator for the county. My duties also include supervising the deputies assigned to protect each of our county schools.. . I have been employed by the Worcester County Sheriff’s Office since 1999. Prior to that I was employed by the Pocomoke Police Department from 1996-1999.. . I have long worked for positive change in Worcester County. My family and I now feel the time has come for me to seek elected office. I want to bring fresh ideas and positive solutions to the Worcester County Sheriff’s Office by running for Sheriff in 2018.. . As you know, Worcester County, like the rest of the nation, is experiencing a drug abuse eidemic that is causing deaths (15 in 2015) due to overdoses and related factors. This eidemic is also the catalyst for an increase in crimes against people and property.. . In order to serve the people of Worcester County I must conduct an aggressive campaign. For these reasons, I feel the need to step forward and offer my candidacy to the voters.. . For this campaign to be successful it will require a strong and organized grass roots organization. I have been working for the past several months on the foundation of my campaign. With brochures, flyers, yard signs, advertising to place, and an entire county to canvass, I can not do it all alone.
