Detailed description is Franz Marc und die Kunst des "Blauen Reiter" in der Landschaft entdecken, die Marc und seine Künstlerfreude inspiriert hat. Das Franz Marc Museum wurde 1986 in Kochel a. See gegründet, um Leben und Werk Franz Marcs in der Landschaft darzustellen, die ihn als Maler geprägt hat. Seit 2008 wird in einem Neubau das Werk Franz Marcs aus erweiterter Perspektive gezeigt: Der Protagonist und Namensgeber des Museums wird bewusst in den Kontext der Kunst des 20. Jahrhunderts gestellt. Dabei tritt Marc mit Malern wie Paul Klee, Ernst Ludwig Kirchner, Max Pechstein, Erich Heckel und Max Beckmann aber auch mit Künstlern wie Joseph Beuys und Georg Baselitz in einen Dialog. Parallel zu den Sonderausstellungen zeigt das Museum aus seiner Sammlung bedeutende Arbeiten Franz Marcs, des "Blauen Reiters ", der "Brücke", Paul Klees, sowie der deutschen und französischen Nachkriegsabstraktion.. . Nur eine Stunde von München entfernt und eingebettet in eine malerische Naturkulisse ist das Museum zu jeder Jahreszeit ein lohnendes Ausflugsziel. Ein umfangreiches museumspädagogisches Programm und öffentliche Führungen am Wochenende ergänzen die Ausstellungen.. . Kinderprogramme: Sonntags hat unser "Offenes Atelier" für Kinder und Jugendliche (5-12 Jahre) von 14-17 Uhr geöffnet. Das Atelier ist eine ideale Ergänzung zum Museumsbesuch. .
