History - Frank's Karma Cafe began its life as the Deli at 203 in November of 2002.
It was founded by Pam Pietch and Carol Franzgrote, two lifelong friends who saw a need for a place to get good, hearty sandwiches and salads.
The two women did a fantastic job of setting up the place, choosing harmonizing colors and creating a homey and welcoming atmosphere..

After a few years, Carol left for greener pastures, and in April of 2006 Pam handed over the reins of the Deli at 203 to Cliff Mulnix and Andrew Mansour, two young middle-aged guys who'd had their fill of "real" jobs.
Over the course of the first year, the guys added a professional oven and grill in order to make daily homemade specials and desserts.
The specials range the gamut from Mediterranean cuisine (highlighted on MEDITERRANEAN MONDAYS), to vegetarian specialties (inspired by Ithaca, NY's famed Moosewood Restaurant), to "fancy" Julia Child-inspired French cuisine.

By their first anniversary at the place, the guys decided that a name change was in order.
The Restaurant was never a Deli, and it may not always remain at 203 S.
Main St., so in May of 2007, we were renamed FRANK'S KARMA CAFE, in honor of the good karma brought about by a stray German Shepard puppy named Frank Sumatra"
