Detailed description is Saturday, September 9, 2017 Franklin 4 The Cure 5K Race/Kids Fun Run and Concert.

Franklin 4 the Cure is an annual fundraiser to benefit pediatric cancer founded my the Stacey Family.
Each year this event takes place in the Westhaven Community of Franklin, TN.
This year's event will occur on Saturday September 9th.

The event will kick off with the Family Fun Run 5K at 8:00 AM.
This 5K will wind through the beautiful landscaped streets and paved trails located in the Westhaven community.The run will conclude with a party at the finish line that will include a DJ, giveaways, sponsor booths, and tons of fun!!.

The Concert 4 the Cure, featuring Jeffery Steele, will take place on Saturday, September 9th starting at 6:00 PM on the Great Lawn at the Westhaven Residents Club, located at 401 Cheltenham Avenue.
Doors open at 5:30 PM.
Get there early to get good seats!! Tickets are $35 for adults and $15 for children 10 and under.
Beverages and food will be available for purchase.
A limited number of VIP Experience tickets are available for $100 per person and include hors d’oeuvres and beverages with a premium view of the concert from the balcony..

Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt.
Discovery grants provide seed funding for cancer researchers to pursue bold ideas in the lab that can lead to breakthrough discoveries in the fight against cancer.
Findings from preliminary research supported by these grants are essential to obtain funding from the National Cancer Institute (NCI) and other federal agencies that grant millions every year to support cancer research..
