Detailed description is The GLI at the University of Montana creates an opportunity for students to find answers to some of the most pressing questions of the 21st century. The Franke Global Leadership Initiative (GLI) at the University of Montana creates an opportunity for students to ask some of the most pressing questions of the 21st century while gaining the skills necessary to find the answers.. . GLI is a four-year program, open to all areas of academic study, where Fellows will engage in innovative seminars, tailored discussions on the Presidential Lectures and one-on-one contact with inspiring leaders. Fellows will participate in the University of Montana’s expansive selection of out-of-the-classroom learning experiences, while also gaining access to potential funding sources to help offset costs incurred from those experiences. The program will culminate in a capstone project, allowing Fellows to apply the knowledge they have acquired over the course of their studies..
