Detailed description is Fonds Régional d'Art Contemporain de Franche-Comté Le Fonds Régional d’Art Contemporain (Frac) de Franche-Comté, s’est installé en 2013 à la Cité des Arts de Besançon (bâtiment mutualisé avec le Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional), sur l’ancien site du port fluvial.. . Vous pourrez y trouver :. - Deux salles d’exposition (de 100m² et 400m²) présentant chacune des expositions temporaires, ouvertes au public du mercredi au dimanche.. - Un centre de documentation en libre accès, mutualisé avec le CRR, avec une salle de travail et plus de 15 000 références (livres, magazines, CD’s…) disponibles.. - Une salle de conférence permettant de présenter tout type de rendez-vous.. - Deux studios de résidence pour accueillir les artistes.. - 400m² de réserves pour conserver les quelques 500 œuvres de plus de 250 artistes différents.. . . Depuis leur origine, les Fonds Régionaux d’Art Contemporain ont trois missions fondatrices : constituer une collection, la diffuser auprès des publics les plus diversifiés et inventer des formes de sensibilisation à la création actuelle.. . Depuis 2006, la collection du Frac Franche-Comté s'articule autour des problématiques du temps sous toutes ses acceptions y compris sa dimension sonore..
