Detailed description is We are a multi-generational farm striving to connect people with the food they eat. Our family farm started as an effort to bring four generations of family members to the same property in order to share time and toil together. Our matriarch is Wanda Farr who grew up on a farm in north Texas. Her daughter Lynette Petty and granddaughter Risa Kearn grew up knowing only urban life with yearly visits to rural Texas. Now the fourth generation is being raised on this beautiful farm between Lawrence and Eudora. We look forward to being part of the local food movement in the area and feeding ourselves and our neighbors the most nutritious food we can generate while improving the health of the land where we live.
